Innovation is one of the basic principles of our company and we search for it in every aspect of our lives. As traveling becomes more common, and airplanes get faster, our everyday items must evolve with the times.
If my phone can be a computer, a telegraph, an assistant, a music player and a game console… My luggage should also be a vehicle and a shelf. While we’re at it, can we make it dispense wine?
Yes, we can.
And we did.
We’ve put together a list of some fantastic and progressive travel items out there right now. Let’s not bury the lead and get to the scooter. Whoosh, whoosh.
Item 1, the Steve Aoki Micro Luggage.
Bury the stress and scoot to your terminal. It’s the future folks. This carry-on compliant luggage item is a revolution in the airport industry. Who hasn’t been dropped off at terminal B and looked down at their ticket to see… terminal M… Hope you brought your walking shoes. With this beautifully designed piece of luggage, you’ll be asking to get dropped off half a mile away.
Item 2, The Beverage Bag.
We find another piece of “luggage” on our list. This popular bag gives the boxed wines a new look. A rubber bottom makes sure nothing spills and if you are hiding this under your coat, there’s even room for a chill pack! There is even room on the top for some extra glasses. Use it at home or take it to the beach. Simply grab the handle and go.
Item 3, The Ostrich Pillow
In the current political climate, we all want to stick our head in the sand and just wait it out a couple of years. This pillow is designed for extreme comfort ad isolation when surrounded by passengers in an airplane or train. Although you may need it if the news is on the TV. Ignorance is bliss and this device epitomizes it while providing the most luxurious levels of comfort. Let’s get ignorant asap!
Item 4, Anti Skimming Wallet.
Skimming is method used by criminals to capture data from the magnetic stripe on the back of an ATM cards and other personal identification items. All they need is get the technology near your bag or wallet and scan away! But some materials can block this technology by not allowing the sensors or lasers to pass through, therefore protecting your information. Naturally, a wallet was made from these materials! Let’s skim a little off the top of our bank account and invest in safety.

Item 5, Suitcase Shelf.
Who is going to take out all of their articles of clothing and organize it in a hotel room when you don’t know how clean the drawers are. Additionally, this organization-fest is time consuming, especially if you are only staying somewhere a couple of nights or less. Wouldn’t it be convenient for everything in your suitcase to be easily accessible? Almost as if it came with shelves? Yes, it would be. This suitcase pops up your dresser faster than the shake of a lamb’s tail!

Item 6, The Solar Back Pack
Let the sunshine in and the battery bar fill up. The Voltaic Off Gird USB Solar Backpack uses a built-in solar panel to charge a 400mAH 15W battery for you to use to charge your devices. Using a maximum output of 6.15W at 6v, your phones, tablets and any other USB device are taken care of, anywhere. Of course, make sure you are still on planet earth, daylight is not guaranteed when traveling off-world! Just a few hours of sun will charge and top off most day-to-day devices!
Item 7, The Camping Hammock.
We love swinging, on a hammock that is. If you find yourself on an African safari, or backpacking through the amazon, taking a nap can be a horrible ordeal. The floor has been the territory of bugs and ants for millions of years, and there is no sign of change. This robust hammock can hold anyone and can be folded into a nifty little pack for travel. If you do not like safaris or being near angry forest-floor critters, then just imaging swinging between two palm trees, sipping on a margarita on the shores of Bermuda. Better? Yeah, we thought so too.
Item 8, The Crank Charger.
Whether you are going to a jungle expedition or a third world country, electricity isn’t always a given. In-fact, your wall charger may not even fit in a lot of the electrical sockets that a foreign country has to offer. Even if we don’t “need” electricity for a couple of hours, we sure as heck need our phones. And don’t try and get around it by saying that where there is no electricity you probably don’t have service because candy crush can be played offline… Maybe I’ve said too much.
Additionally, anyone who has experiences a hurricane r a typhoon understands that the power can be gone for days on end in any country, be it the USA or a third world country. In these cases, even your battery backups may get used up and a kinetic crank charger could be a life saver. During many hurricanes and natural disasters, power might go out, but phone service is frequently still up. Being able to communicate with loved ones can be a godsend. So choose which arm you want to pump and get crankin’, we got a phone to charge!
